Most traditional pillows may feel great when you squeeze them, but when you sleep on them you realise how little support you get for your neck. This lack of shape and support can cause a poor and restless sleep, and very often neck and back pain.
Therapeutic contour pillows are designed to give you the support, where you need it...in the neck !! Traditional pillows leave a gap where your neck is, which leaves your neck completely unsupported.
Originally developed for NASA in the late 1970's viscoelastic memory foam, temperature sensitive foam - or what some call - pressure relieving material, is a super new material that keeps you in a naturally supported, stress free position while you sleep.
The viscoelastic memory material moulds and custom contours to your head and neck shape, providing maximum pressure relief and support to the head and shoulders; reducing the night time tossing and turning caused by pressure point discomfort.
Equal to the feel and density of the market leader which is 85kgm3 - 5.5lb density.
Memory Foam is Unique:
1. When compressed the open cell foam rather than fighting to return to its original shape, spreads the air to adjoining foam cells, thus spreading the weight load.
2. Memory foam is also temperature sensitive, so at lower temperatures it is firmer (ie: viscous), and at higher temperatures it is softer (ie: elastic), which is why it is known as visco-elastic foam. This temperature sensitivity means the pillow moulds to your shape.
