American Chiropractic Association Renews Endorsement Of Therapeutica Products - February 26, 2007 (Arlington, Va.)
In an effort to promote correct posture and proper ergonomics, the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) has renewed its endorsement of Therapeutica, Inc.’s line of ergonomic pillows and back supports.
“Therapeutica’s extensive line of pillows and back supports has been thoroughly tested by a panel of ACA ergonomic experts and well received by members of the American Chiropractic Association and their patients,” said ACA President Richard Brassard, DC.

The Inventor
Mr. Ed Keilhauer a European furniture designer immigrated to Canada in 1951. He worked for a few years in the industry and then in 1956 started his own custom furniture business
In the late 80's, Ed suffered with a severe neck problem. After many years of chiropractic treatments Ed and his Chiropractor advisor Dr. Peter Mackay designed a pillow with a unique upper wedge, which comfortably supported his neck and spine while sleeping.
In 1995, he decided to patent the design and started a company to manufacture and market the Therapeutica Pillows, Back Supports and Auto Supports. The company markets its line of pillows and back supports to Chiropractors, Therapists and Healthcare professionals, worldwide.

Measuring is simple...Use the PDF step by step guide to be professionally measured.
- Open the PDF measuring guide
- Have someone assist in measuring you.
- Have them measure your left shoulder.
- Move your shirt collar, if it interferes.
- Stand facing the person who is measuring you.
- Arms down to your sides.
- Have the person measuring you, hold the ruler to the base of the neck.
- Keep the ruler level across the shoulder area. (The ruler will raise off the shoulder.)
- While holding the ruler in place, with their left hand, your assistant should feel for the humorous bone with their right hand. Note: Ignore any muscle mass beyond the humerus on the exterior of the shoulder or on the lower arm.
- Compare size on the ruler, above the end of the humerus, with the diagram in the measuring guide to order your pillow.
