Where the latex is grown?

Latex trees are grown in many countries; India, Siri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and our supply is from Malaysia.

Where the latex is processed?

Ours is grown, trees taped & harvested  and processed in Malaysia.

What curing agents are used?

Natural latex is the sap exuded out from tapping the bark of rubber trees. The latex collected from the rubber plantation is then delivered to the factory to be concentrated by the  centrifugation process. The concentrated natural latex is then allowed to mature for a suitable period in readiness for production of the latex foam. The chemicals used in the curing (shape setting) of the latex foam are Zinc oxide ( activator), Sulphur ( cross-linking agent) and accelerators ( Zdec and ZMBT)

What is the curing process?

Latex is poured into a mould & steam heated to hardened. The curing is done in a steam chamber of 100 Celsius for a period of time when complete cross-linking of rubber polymers. Water is squeezed out by running the block through rollers, spun in a centrifuge, put through a radio frequency dryer and finally placed on racks to air dry.
