Questions & Answers:

Use Instructions and Care

To extend the Walkstool legs slowly pull the legs down until the red safety button is visible and locks into position. Once the three legs are locked into place the Walkstool is ready to be sat upon. As with any three-legged stool the proper way to sit on the Walkstool is with one of the three seat points between your legs (like sitting on a bicycle seat). To retract the Walkstool's legs push in the red safety button, while pushing the walkstool's legs back towards the seat. Please do not attempt to stand on the Walkstool, due to its three legged design it is not safe to stand on the Walkstool. As for maintenance, Walkstools never require oil or lubricants; they are designed to work dry. If your Walkstool gets extremely dirty, you can remove the legs and wipe them down with a clean dry cloth. The legs can be removed by pushing the red safety button and pulling out the legs, after the legs are in the extended position.

Where did its name come from ?

Walkstool's name came from the fact that you can attach the Walkstool to your belt or any other strap and walk hands free. In other words, Walkstool is the stool that will walk with you. To attach walkstool to your belt simply thread the closing strap through your belt or through a belt loop and then snap the button.

What's it made from ?

The two primary materials used to construct Walkstools are commercial grade anodized aluminum and heavy-duty nylon mesh seat.

I love my new Walkstool. Considering my situation from recovering from two total knee replacements, it has given me a lot of confidence to go try to walk. If the knee starts hurting, I have my Walkstool ! Thank you for making a great product (Posted on 10/10/2016)

About half of our group of 34 used Walkstools to sit for long periods of meditation at temples and sacred sites throughout India. Perhaps you could include this in your delightful user manual. Hello! I'm writing in to just say thank you for an awesome product. I'm an artist and I do quite a bit of en plein-air sketching and Walkstool has been absolutely indispensable for me (especially with pastels - I can't use those while standing up), mainly because it is perfect for long hikes with other gear - it is super-light and takes very little space in the backpack. There are many foldable stools out there but to my knowledge only Walkstool is so light and small. Quite literally, without Walkstool, my painting trips would be harder, shorter and less fun. I recommend it to everyone! Thank you for a great product! (Posted on 10/10/2016)

You have an outstanding product! I have recommended the Walkstool 65 Comfort to all of my friends and family. I have also been stopped on the street by people asking about my Walkstool. I do my best to demonstrate how it operates, it's features and quality construction, as well as where it can be purchased.

I love my Walkstool. Thank you! (Posted on 10/10/2016)

This product is awesome. I am a professional sports photographer and it is the perfect tool for shooting Basketball and Wrestling. Before I purchased the Walkstool I would kneel during the entire game so I could get the action from the angle I wanted while not blocking the view of spectators at court level. Sitting at essentially the same height is much more comfortable. The Walkstool is very sturdy and unbelievably light weight. It packs nicely and comes with a handy mesh carry bag (Posted on 10/10/2016)

Just a quick email to say what a fantastic product the walkstool is. I am 6ft tall and a very keep photographer. I am also a active double below knee amputee and being able able to carry this stool on my shoulder has greatly reduced my need to use my wheelchair as often as I used to :-) Fantastic. Wish I had known about this product previously. Found it purely by coincidence while browsing on the website of WEX Photographic (Posted on 10/10/2016)
