Moving office? Here’s how to simply dismantle your chair!
TOOLS:
- WD-40
- Pipe wrench
- Screw Driver
- Hammer
- Gas Cylinder / or Replacement Cylinder
- Newspaper
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Tip chair onto the side
2. Spray WD-40 onto joints of the gas cylinder. Let the WD-40 sit for a few minutes
3. Move the telescope cover down to allow easy access
4. Using the pipe wrench, twist the gas cylinder either direction to losen
5. Pull apart the chair and the base
6. Remove the telescope cover
7. Place the base onto a sturdy bench. Using a hammer, apply force to the bottom of the cylinder until it pops out
REPLACING THE CYLINDER
8. Wipe of any WD-40 residue
9. Put the telescope cover back on
10. Attach the gas cylinder back onto the chair and press down
11. Attach the base onto the cylinder and chair and press down
