Description

The World’s Most Sustainable and Ergonomic Task Chair

The Path chair takes Humanscale’s philosophy to the next level. Made of nearly 10 kilos of recycled ocean plastic, fishing nets, post-consumer bottles and industrial material, the Path chair becomes part of Humanscale’s group of products recognised by the International Living Future Institute’s Living Product Challenge (LPC) as certified climate, water, and energy positive.

Path is not just a chair. It’s a sitting experience. Built with Humanscale’s patented technology, It responds immediately to your body weight and ensures proper pelvic and lumbar support the second you sit down without the need to adjust any annoying knobs. It's minimalist elegance coupled with superb functionality.

FormSense Eco Knitâ„¢. - A mesh-like textile providing self-adjusting lumbar support and a tailored fit to every user, regardless of your height or weight. Each stitch is individually controlled, creating intricate and systematic patterns with targeted zones of tension. Its yarn is made with 100% post-consumer recycled polyester from upcycled plastic bottles. Since it is knit exactly to the shape of the chair, it eliminates the need for cutting or sewing, and creates zero waste.

Recyclable - All seats, back and arms are replaceable without the need to discard the entire chair. Unlike other brands, there is no glue used in upholstery process so the fabric won’t delaminate or wrinkle over time. Humanscale uses greaseless cylinders to ensure that dirt and grit doesn’t build up and compromise the performance of the chair

Gravity Mechanism. - Each chair contains a mechanism that uses gravity and your own bodyweight rather than bulky knobs and levers. As you sit, the mechanism engages. When you recline, it gently lifts, so your body becomes the counterbalance to the chair, and is firmly supported wherever it stops. This creates a custom fit chair that moves completely in sync with you.

Features:

  • Self-adjusting recline – provides the right amount of support through the full range of recline motion, regardless of user size and weight
  • Pivoting backrest – provides additional lumbar support as needed
  • Contoured seat cushion – Increased contact area reduces pressure points
  • Seat height and depth adjustment
  • Available in various colour cominations
  • With or without armrest – height adjustable armrests connect to the backrest not the seat
