Walkstool Comfort – The Original

The Walkstool is a unique Swedish invention and the only three‑legged stool in the world with telescopic legs, protected by patents and trademarks. First introduced in 1997 by creator Lars Andersson, Walkstool has become the benchmark for portable seating.

We’ve tested it extensively in our Bad Backs Sydney store and can confirm it’s simply fantastic. When Lars visited us in 2016 to present the product, it was clear there’s still no true equivalent on the market today. “It’s incredibly light!”

Walkstool Comfort

Available in two popular sitting heights — 55cm and 65cm — the Walkstool Comfort features large rubber feet and an ergonomically shaped mesh seat for extended sitting comfort. A simple shoulder bag is included for portability.

Use & Care Instructions

• To extend: pull legs down until the red safety button locks into position
• To retract: press the red safety button and push legs back toward the seat
• Always sit with one of the three seat points between your legs (like a bicycle seat)
• Do not stand on the Walkstool — it is designed for sitting only
• No oil or lubricants required; simply wipe legs clean with a dry cloth if dirty
• Legs can be removed for cleaning by pressing the red safety button

The name Walkstool comes from its portability — attach it to your belt or strap and walk hands‑free. It’s the stool that walks with you.
